Research and manuscript development are continuing across the book’s major themes, including Narragansett history, Potter Pond, coastal engineering, fisheries, hurricanes, aquaculture, tourism, and conservation.

The project is also moving through image selection, permissions, source verification, and publication planning. Matunuck Heritage Press is developing partnerships with regional businesses, museums, historical organizations, and other venues that may support, carry, or promote the finished book.
